Ohp...No clue how I missed your 2011 update on the handguard. Didn't know they made a newer version of it. Hehe, I see you didn't like the newer tool as much either. I forgot to mention I was really impressed with those little rail segments. I didn't know they were metal or aluminum. Was thinking they were polymer or maybe rubber, it was a very nice surprise.

@EverythingisFire ...yes the newer version has the longer attachment rail piece bolts. I complained to Troy and they sent me a whole new rail with all the acc. Kudos to Troy!!!

Your rifle looks great! Loving that handguard(not a fan of any vertical grip but no worries). Stuck between this and the one with the more oval slots.

@EverythingisFire the one with the slotas are also made by Troy, but I like that style too, but they are a bit more money than this one. You can find this rail for $150 shipped if you look around.

Troy had a great price on this for their black friday sale. It was 30% off most Troy products so I think it brought it down to $120-130. Also bought their fixed sights to put on it :)

@EverythingisFire .....you are correct sir. I bought the Alpha 9" no sight, and there version of a BAD lever. I hope the lever will fit on my billett lower, cause the Magpul rubs. Free shipping too. Awesome deal!!!

Received my handguard and iron sights. Really, really good quality, I'm very happy with them! The TRX is soo slim and light weight! Slightly bummed on the Troy tool. It's not like yours, it only has the shape for tightening their barrel nut and the square for a torque wrench. Not having the standard D-ring option is no big deal at all because the Troy is the only one I have. Wish it had the flash hider notch =/ The tool is thick, though, still good.

You should have not turned the gas block. The gas block gas port is most likely now not aligned with the barrel gas port.

When I finished your vid last night, this stock was winning haha. It just looks sooo good! That's good that it's cheaper too, makes the decision easier.
