  • @stephaniejane81 I respect yours as well. It's reasonable. Thank you for the talk.

  • @ThePlyrMava although we may not see eye to eye, I respect your opinion. thanks for being cordial.

  • @stephaniejane81 unable to agree on a mesh between both policies. It's obvious that combining the two with compromise will lead to a good pace recovery and growth, good amount of time climbing, gradual recession, and quicker recovery. It's a stretched out sinusoid graph, if you will.

But no, everyone is concerned with a quick fix. America is so selfish. We need to think about the country as a whole, not worrying about Political points and reputation. I'd rather be comfortable than famous!

  • @stephaniejane81 and the companies filed for bankruptcy soon after. That's the big problem I have with Romney's economic view. It's a problem I have with many economics.

Just seems that the media bias takes one side or the other.

The fact is that Conservative policies cause a speedier gain in the economy.

The more Liberal approach is safer, but slower. Much, much slower.

the Liberal policies tend to save the economy from the side-effects of the Conservative policies.

    Sucks, though, that we are

  • @stephaniejane81 My view of economics is a bonding between Socialism and Capitalism, because my belief is that purely one or the other leads to messy situations once the trough period comes. Gingrich and Santorum anger me when they lie so much, but Romney also has to take some of the blame for making white lies concerning the other candidates.

It's certain that Bain created jobs while investing in other companies. But I just can't get over how they pulled out at peak

  • @ThePlyrMava and I too am exausted by all the politics going on and it pains me to see our country so divided, even within the conservative party. I'm sure you will disagree, but because I'm conservative I agree with capitalism and free-enterprise. Romney's time at Bain Capital has been demonized, but they created a ton of jobs while trying to save businesses that were failing. they couldn't save all of them, but they created over 100,000 by growing many businesses back up.

  • @ThePlyrMava Also, concerning his flip flops, the one big flip flop would be abortion...which many people become pro-life who were once pro-choice. He governed as a pro-life governor. he seems to have become more conservative over time, just like Reagan was a democrat and then became more conservative. On all other issues he hasn't seemed to flip-flop as much as he has overtime changed his stance to being more conservative. I think the flip-flopping has been blown out of proportion

  • @ThePlyrMava thanks for being so respectful while disagreeing. it is a breath of fresh air. I too am tired of the media bias on all sides. The thing with Romney is I have looked into his record and there have been a lot of things that have been taken out of contrext on him. I have found that Santorum and Gingrich have lied about several issues concerning Mitt. I do my research on each candidate and find out the truth, and vote according to whoever is closest to what I believe

  • @stephaniejane81 I think Americans (Politicians and the rest alike) need to realize that a quick fix is not going to work here.

We need a long-term plan that will sustain a healthy recovery. Both "Conservative" and "Liberal" policies mixed. Together they can work, with compromise. Alone they give a quick fix and inevitable collapse.

I just really wish Politics didn't turn so dirty in the last 2 decades.

I'm a hopeless romantic in wanting everyone to get along. Sigh.

    I respect your opinion.

  • @stephaniejane81

What's troubling to me is the information being distorted by both outlets of the media. "Liberal" and "Conservative".

I want the true information to come out. Not one set of information given by one side, and another given by another. I want the politicians to admit to their mistakes, their triumphs, and each other's as well.

I believe in the philosophy "Spend money to make money". And I believe in investing in infrastructure to make America more competitive.
