This is matthew morgan who goes to redhill school eating chips of floor. My friends sent me this and i did not film this ( hense the high pitched laugh) Matt Morgan's permission was asked for rights to put video up and he agreed.

Satis house, is a very death like place which is full of old memory's. All that enter the house feel miss.Havishams curse fall over them. Dickens describes the house as 'in a state too crumble under a touch'. There are plants and weeds growing around the house and the old brewery out the back had been stopped a long time ago and not used since. " no brewing was going on in it and none seemed to have been going on in it for a long long time". You could describe the Home in two ways, a vampire's paradise or a prison built by and around miss.Havisham. It is vamperc in the way the windows had been borded up not too let any light in, it is lighted by wax candles and the amount of weeds growing through out the house. The fact that she has hung onto her wedding day objects is just disturbing. The cake that is at least the age of Pip stands by her Long table which is almost her 'coffin' as she has been wished to lay upon it when she dies.

Chapter 11 is a key chapter in the whole factor off death, decay and imprisonment. First thre is a Gothic atmosphere created by Dickens description off the house he uses phrases such as 'extinct brewery' which I think is a very strong but effective way of describing a empty place. He then uses repetition on the 'all clocks had stopped at twenty too nine.

I feel in chapter 11 miss.Havisham speaks so much of death is because she is surrounded by the pockets who will be the people that recive her wealth when she dies, too keep there hopes up off getting some wealth.

In chapter 49 the themes of death, decay and imprisonment are prominent. Pip talks too her about the request he made for her to become to take over the payments for Herbert Pockets employer. I feel that in this part of the book the reality of what she has done too all these peoples life's finally hits her and she beg's forgiveness on her knee's too Pip who seems astonished at this sudden change of heart. Miss.Havisham suddenly goes a bit loopy when conversation of Estella starts, maybe it's because she has remarrierd Drummel but still Dickens uses Good writing for this quote of page 465, "I knew not how to answer, or how to comfort her. That she had done a grievous thing in taking an impressionable child to mould into the form that her wild resentment, spurned affection, and wounded pride, found vengeance in, I knew full well. But that, in shutting out the light of day, she had shut out infinitely more; that, in seclusion, she had secluded herself from a thousand natural and healing influences; that, her mind, brooding solitary, had grown diseased, as all minds do and must and will that reverse the appointed order of their Maker; I knew equally well.". He has a long conversation with Miss.Havisham about Estella's family past, only too revile that Estella was Molly's daughter.
Pip then leaves the room too take a walk around the house, themes of death and decay are very apparent here. As pip 'raises the rusty latch' to enter the old brewery he enters and walks through. As he is about too exit he turns around and has a vision of seeing Miss.Havisham hanging from one of the Beams. This startles pip and he quickly makes his way back through the house, he peeks in through the door too see Miss.Havisham sat in a chair next too the fire where he left her. Wearing her old wedding dress. Then the dress catches fire. Pip lays her on the floor and puts his 'double caped greatcoat' over Miss.Havisham.
