This example shows what happens if you LOOK at what you DONT want to hit. This rider looks at the wall, wobbles a bit as he tries to move the bike, but staring at the wall guarantees he hits it.

  • I think you just do like you said...always focus on where you want to go, not where you don't. Thanks for the comments!

  • @smeghead666 Translation: knobcheesebrainbeast - literally! knob cheese brain beast

  • @smeghead666 Oh Jesus shit there's more! "fight or flight which has no connection" with the inability to concentrate on two things at once? Of course it has you silly little fucker. It's just that you've grown up in a world where you expect people to look after you, be told what to do and win awards. When we still needed our instincts to survive... do I have to paint a fucking picture??

  • @smeghead666 Military. Did all that shit. We have our own terms for everything. Now I'm in business. Now go play with yourself.

  • @G58 like it or not, riding your pushbike and staring at girls has NOT trained you in any way to deal with split second target fixation during a loss of control, your 40 imaginary years of experience have shown little to no founding and what you have come up with has been flying in the face of every professional opinion going.

    End of, Goodbye

  • @G58 you just come out with all talk and no trousers throughout this entire exchange, what you have *attempted* as proof of any level of knowledge has shown you to be punching far above your weight and bullshitting your way through, you're claiming firstly that target fixation is a myth and an excuse for the stupid, witter some bollocks about fight or flight which has no connection, then go on to explain the "trick" to overcome something that dosn't exist!

  • @G58 I'll let my current sponsors know your thoughts ^_^

It isn't about university degrees its about genuine experience which you are lacking far more than I or many other professionals, I could go on with more proof of my experience that you so call boasting, such as your "freestyle & unaided" mountaineering... if you knew anything about mountaineering or climbing you wouldn't use those two words in the same sentence, proving your utter lack of knowledge and experience further

  • @smeghead666 Hilarious. Next you'll be telling me that people that go to university and get degrees are the most experienced, and best qualified people. Keep collecting your certificates and cheap trophies. I'm sure there's huge acclaim waiting for you among the stupid and easily impressed. But you'll never make any money with that attitude.

  • @G58 next its going to be *I trained myself to stop a tankslapper with the power of my mind*

*sigh*... "Age doesn't always bring wisdom. Sometimes age comes alone"

  • @G58 I have plenty to learn, just nothing from you...

    12 in 1970? "over 40yrs experience" doesn't include when you're a kid on a pushbike

"never considered obtaining any qualifications" yet is trying to preach their level of skill down to others and also disrespecting MANY more professional riders?

Someone whos convinced themselves Fact is fiction and they know better than those with centuries more experience?

I respect them and their professional opinion far more than your self righteous shite

  • @smeghead666 "horse shit"? bmx? I was 12 in 1970. We invented BMX and mountain biking. We built our own bikes. Never even considered obtaining qualifications to boast on YouTube about my abilities and capabilities. But I've climbed many mountains - freestyle and unaided. What I did from 18 onwards would scare the shit out of you. And anyone who assumes they have nothing to learn is due a big fall. Be careful little man.
