Interpol - Slow Hands - Drum Cover

Here's my attempt at this great song on my recently acquired Yamaha DTXplorer. Plenty of mistakes but I'll practice it a bit more and hopefully upload a better version soon.

No tabs involved XD. I just learned it by ear, and in fact if you look at some of the interpol live vids of the song you'll see there are some parts I play differently.

This drums is more difficult than the traditional?

Thanks very much! I don't think the electric drums are more difficult to play than acoustic drums, certainly the hi-hat control isn't as intuitive but that's about it. The main drawback is only 1 sound per trigger or pad.

Hey I always wanted to learn how to play this, but some of the bass beats make me, er, not want to bother.

That was real neat, interpol are ace.

Thanks mate. Give it a go anyway, I don't do the bass right and it didn't stop me! Mistake at 0.35 for example.

I wouldn't call all of them mistakes, there are some mistakes of course, but most of it you just don't play the song identical to the way it was recorded, it still sounds pretty good to me. That's the good thing with drum covers, even when playing the in a band you can make it them sound great even if it's not exactly the same as the original version.
