You don't need to take a theology class to understand that the Bible has a bunch of stories in it and shouldn't be taken literally. They're just lessons on morality.

Hell wasn't in the original Bible either. It was added later on and the King James Version REALLY mentions Hell a lot compared to the other versions. Why is that the version that everyone goes for when it's the worst translated version.

I love Lewis but this rant is total bullshit. "Us Jews understand that the world wasn't created in 7 days but you Christians believe that stuff. We understand that we were writing bullshit when we said the earth was created in 7 days"? Come on Lewis, Are you gonna tell me that Rabbis and religious Jews don't believe that? This sounds like a bit of a nationalistic rant.

Hilarious, but he was wrong about jesus, at least the old testament god didn't punish people for eternity for finite crimes. Jesus is far, far more immoral and spiteful.
