Their "thoughts" of pedophilia get in the way of their faith which says they can't even masturbate. Which drives them sexually crazy, since they are, after all, animals.

Also consider Hades was a catchall term that encompassed both the good and the bad abodes of the dead. Blessed isles, Elysium and Tartarus --Tartarus being the Hell side. Hell, the word, was likely from Hel, the underworld in which the goddess, also named Hel, ruled in, in proto euro religions.

The Hebrew version uses the word sheol which can mean grave or pit. The Greek versions use the word Hades. Greek mythology mixed with Hebrew mythology to make Christianity. That's why Jews don't believe in Hell.
