@helloworld1144 Funny thing, we're doing this at my high school. We cut out some of the funniest lines to make it more "family friendly" but it's still a pretty fun musical.

@inhighspeed I agree. Godspell was subtly beautiful and endlessly captivating, while Wicked is pure musical genius and has a brilliant plot, but Pippin is a little meh.

I watched this yesterday at the Menier Playhouse in London and it was incredible. Really, if you have the chance, go see it. Phenomenal performances and inspirational reimagining. A far cry from the slightly watered down, "kiddified" high school versions.

@inhighspeed It's funny that you should call it twee, because I've always disliked it because I found it weirdly unsettling. Or maybe I'm just associating it with the performance I did at my vaguely-creepy theater camp...
