@meedily : I never compared them in the same environment. To my ears, it's warmer than Rode NT2 with a comparable level of clarity. The tones are brighter and more natural than Neuman U87. But I believe U87 is the true killer in terms of impacts and thickness. I will vote the CV-12 for it's versatility.
