  • do you have a tab for this song?

  • no, I don't read or write tablature

  • When I sit down and try to figure out the chords, they seem to come out different from when I'm just playing the song. But here's most of them:

    Am G C G C

    C G Am E Am

    C G Am E Am

  • A beautiful piece nicely played. After hearing it, I went a-looking for some tab or sheet music online but had no luck. I recognize this from a movie called "Geronimo: An American Legend", which came out over a decade ago. Didn't know it was a traditional piece though.

  • So far as I can tell, it's an early American hymn tune, like from Sacred Harp or somewheres. Sometimes the hymn Come Thou Fount of every Blessing is sung to it.

  • This is great thank you!

  • :D, well this is lovely!

It's so pretty, I could listen to it over and over again!

  • Thank you. This is beautiful!

  • So pretty!

  • Mr. Sondahl,

If possible, if you did not take it on ear and keep it there, could you frame a melody? Just recieved a mandolin Saturday and would love to learn I Will Arise on a virgin instrument. Or at least some chords.
