You may like to look at a video I took under somewhat adverse conditions.
All clips were taken with HD96 with Auto setting, Wide screen.
Tripod used.

Still shots are not as good as manual optical zoom of X10 insufficient.. I usually have a small digital camera I use to take stills .

Nice try.
We all have differing uses for our video camera. I use my HD96 for capturing the high jumps the boys I coach are in.
All 2008 competitions in my profile were shot using this camera. After experimenting a bit, I ended up using Automatic with no lena attachment. A tripod is essential.
