@PhateofLilblkbear i'm glad I was a part of an organization that helped inspire you. As you can imagine it was very hard for us in a mostly white DCI. But it was worth it.

I remember competing against you guys back in '92 at a couple regionals. I marched with the Patriots from Rochester, NY. You guys were good. You guys also inspired me because I was one of the few blks in a majority white drum corps. I wish the kids today had the determination that we did when we were little.

Cool! I was with the NYL'S in the summer of "91" and "92". It was lots of practice and all. But through the sweat, pain, and frustration, it was fun and all worth it. i help shape me
