    the title makes it sound like Mike Powell was in 1963 which is not right, also the fact that he was facing Carl Lewis in this event who was like 10yrs old in 1963.

    This jump breaks or equals Bob Beemans Mexico olympics record and beats Carl Lewis by 5cms for the gold medal.

    There's paralympics, special olympics, and olympics for old ppl, so why not segregate by ethnicity? Some races have genetic advantages over other races, same as the way able ppl have advantages over disabled ppl.
