Fallout: New Vegas - YCS/186

Unique Gauss Rifle.
It has a sandy texture along the barrel and stock. It has 4 more coils around the barrel, possibly explaining the greater damage (11 coils around the standard Gauss Rifle, 15 on the YCS/186). This weapon uses 4 Microfusion Cells per shot, instead of 5 like the Gauss Rifle.
- repaired with Gauss Rifles, or with Jury Rigging Laser RCWs and Plasma Rifles
- the displayed DPS of the gun doesn't account for the need to reload every shot, which takes 2.333 seconds
- this gun has a lower strength requirement than the Anti-Materiel Rifle, making it a more attractive option for snipers unwilling to invest in 'Weapon Handling' perk
- this gun has double the critical hit range of the Anti-Materiel Rifle, a maximum ceiling of 76% compared to the 38% of the anti-material rifle

i am now level 30 and it says my xp is at max what is this about?

In New Vegas the level cap is 30. Tho each add-on raises the level cap by 5 levels, bringing the max level to 50 with all the 4 add-ons.

@runehawk1411 There is also a trait called "Logan's Loophole" which locks the level cap at 30 when you have all Old World Blues installed.
