@stevefilmer you can buy some cracked corn at a feeds store for pretty cheap. I think a 50lb bag is about 5-6 dollars. It will be much better for him/her :)

I never had a pet goose (because where I live is illegal to own one) but I have been pretty close to a wild pair at my college whom I dubbed the Seneca Pair and fed them fruits. The mother I was friendly with her since she was a gosling with her parents and siblings (don't know where they've migrated off to) and every year they have their goslings in the courtyard and I'm the only human the pair actually trusts

@ciciironwill27 your canada goose is now imprinted on you. He basically does not know that he is a goose. I am a wildife rehabber and it is illegal to own canada geese unless you have a permit for him. Please do not ever release this goose into the wild. Canada geese are federally protected and you can be fined for having him. Geese that are brought into our wildife center that people raise are unfortunelty euthanized...and it is not the gooses fault!

please please do research on bread and feeding it to geese and ducks. You are basically slowly killing them.

thats not true...i had a pet goose that i raised from an egg untill it was old enough to be set free and once i set it free it never came back (well, i lied he comes back a lot but he is not a problem) look at my vid maybe you guys will like it

Just your standard bird food (like you would put in a bird feeder). They do get pretty comfortable with people if are relaxed around them.
