  • my neighbor has one of these, but he took out the v8 and put a turbocharged cummins from a semi in, it burns half the fuel but makes double the power around 240hp i think he said

  • @sstroh08 : If you would, please get the serial number so it can be added to the IH V-8 survivors Registry. (See my comment below for more info)

  • my dad has one in North Dakota

  • I actually started a serial number registry for IH 1468's and also one for Ih 1568's. I'd love to add any that you are willing to share! I keep the following info: Serial number Location (city & state) Condition and/or features Owner's name Owner's contact number Contact info is not shared. It is used only in the event of consecutive numbers so I can put owners in touch with one another. Who knows? I might know where the consecutive number to YOURS is! • @farmalltom I put several hours on an IH 1466. From what ive heard on the 68 series with a cab on it, you can " fall out of 'em, but you can't fall into 'em!" The early 70's 14 still runs, and is the big tractor at my friends farm today.

  • also ahead of there time would run on 4 cylinders while doing light work to save fuel WITHOUT a computer
