@gwugluud I know precisely what you mean. And it is hard to actually describe that quality of feeling you're talking about. But it's there...and it has to do with the era and the incredible changes that were going on in the culture at that time. It was this amazing feeling of revolution and endless possibilities. It was a wonderful time to be a teenager in. I felt like the whole world was transforming right in front of me. Beatles, Hendrix, Canned Heat, Ten Years After...it was incredible!

I'm so very glad you said this. The way the media would have it, it would be just the Rolling Stones, The Who, The Supremes etc. when there were a stupendous number of bands all around the world.

ouah!!!!!! malheuresement super difficile a trouver (le film "riot on sunset trip" en dvd) génial!!! un grand groupe avec "fire escape" et "music emporium"!!!! merci pour cette vidéo!!!
I swear, some 60s stuff has this "etherealness" to it that just DOESN'T HAPPEN in any other of rock's epochs. I can't put my finger on what I'm talking about exactly. I mean there's a profundity, a depth.
