Filmkomponist Basil Poledouris (1945-2006) steuerte den Score zu Paul Verhoevens 80er-Jahre-Action-Meilenstein "RoboCop" bei - ein düster-tragisches und treibendes Orchesterwerk - und eine von Poledouris bekanntesten Arbeiten. Das Titelthema des tragischen Helden RoboCop (u.a. in Track 04) hat einen vergleichbaren Wiedererkennungscharakter wie jenes von James Bond oder Indiana Jones.
Für den provokativen Regisseur Verhoeven arbeitete Poledouris zuvor schon an „Flesh & Blood" (1985) und später an „Starship Troopers" (1997).
Für den dritten Teil der kontinuierlich nachlassenden Kino-Reihe „RoboCop" schrieb er auch wieder die Musik - das Beste am ganzen Film...

...just made still pictures from the dvd ("frame save")... i used the player "PowerDVD"...

Have to leave a 2nd comment, for the love of god why is hollywood doing a remake of this movie? Thats like trying to remake the sun. ITS FINE HOLLYWOOD LEAVE ROBOCOP ALONE!

The titles are mixed up, this is 'Driving to Dick Jones', but the quality is awesome, so no actual complaints here ;)
