The Lions Playground for Children of All Abilities
This universally-accessible playground is the first of its kind in Metro Vancouver and Includes specialized play equipment.
Located at Centennial Beach at Boundary Bay Regional Park in Tsawwassen, BC, Canada.
The vision and concept for an expanded, universally accessible playground was first proposed by the Tsawwassen Boundary Bay Lions Club in 2008. They undertook fundraising, and quickly secured almost $400,000 to help cover costs of the project.
This is a collaborative project between the Tsawwassen Boundary Bay Lions Club, Metro Vancouver, the Corporation of Delta and the Province of British Columbia.
