Gear Diary takes the KICKER iKICK iK500 for a spin...literally

Watch the bass propel the iK500 further and further back...talk about a KICK. I should mention that any bass distortion evident in the video was the result of my camera's video recorder's microphone - not the actual sound produced by the speakerbox.

is anyone having issues with their iPod/iPhone not registering it's plugged in when you plug it in? If so can anyone help me as I have already returned it once and if I can, I want to avoid doing it again, cause other than that I love it! :)

@geardiary In addition, the volume in the video is cranked right up to 24. I keep mine at 9-10 (using iPhone 3GS), and in a large room it is PLENTY loud enough.

of course it will - if you turn the bass all the way up and the volume all the way up - it's going to distort. there is a great range, however.

well liek lets say im playing lollipop by lil wayne....at like 20 with the bass @ 1 how will it sound

let's just say that you could crank that song up and be amazed by the clarity and thump - it's only at top ranges and volumes that you will notice distortion. this is a truly awesome sound system!
