@ 2:49 the top 4x4 post should of been closer to the house. It's now has approx. a 6" gap between house & post (does not meet code anywhere). FAIL!

Also, it needs a landing of some kind. Double FAIL!

And technically it needs a "graspable" handrail. Triple FAIL!

Not to mention they are not anchored at the bottom (2:02 to 2:04) they're only sitting on the concrete. Quadruple Fail!

The railing is weak, its only bolted to the stringers and not truly anchored. 5 x's Fail!

These steps suck ass.

@Raaaavioli I watched it out of curiosity. I've been a carpenter for 27yrs, and can build a deck and stairs properly. I'm experienced enough to point out the faults as a warning to DYI'ers that these steps are not legal.

At best these steps would be used as temporary during the construction phase of the bldg., and even then they would be anchored better.

This vid is useless, wrong and should be deleted.

And, by the way, I was stating useful safety facts... you, Raaaavioli are trolling.
