This is the "greatest hit" of a Finnish progressive rock tribute band called Afterglow. ELP made a version of this old English anthem based on William Blakes poem from 1804. Sir Hubert Parry composed the music around the poem 1916. We made it faster and took some church away from it, so it is now more rock music than ELP:s version, that after all is just an anthem with drums.
Afterglow's specialities are Gabriel era Genesis, ELP and also Focus, Camel, Peter Gabriel and UK can be found from our set list. In this song the singer is Ville Välkky, keyboards (Hammond with Leslie and Mini-Moog) are played by Matti Adolfsen, drums Erkki Kari and bass Seppo Salmi.
Hope You enjoy!
