Most ergonomists will agree that if the device will adjust to suit the user it is an ergonomic design. If the user is required to contort their posture to fit the device - then clearly it is not ergonomic. The straight keyboard requires the user to adopt a position of excessive pronation and ulnar deviation and thus cannot be considered ergonomic.
