This is a video showing a file transfer from a PC, which is running windows XP to a Casio FX-880P pocket computer with 32KB+8KB memory, through a serial (RS-232) port. The transfer cable is, at one end connected to a USB to SERIAL adapter and at the other end, connected to the FX-880P. A file, which is in ASCII format, was transferred. There is nothing special about the file format, as it is also called "human readable". The software, which was used is called COMFX Beta. Developped by Jorge Canelhas and downloaded from www.teleweb.pt/~dirtyfl The command that was run on the Casio side can be found in the user manual. The COM0 is the port, 6 is the communication speed, E for even bits, 8,1,N,N,N,B,N is standard. This setup is the same at the PC side also.
Cool stuff.
BTW, The link in your description (teleweb.pt) is dead. However, I imagine other transfer programs (such as Terminal 2.2, or CasIO Utils) should work as well.
