Definitely not as good as my Bose, and there are some gripes I had within the first hour of listening to these, which will be detailed in my review coming soon!

  • what about the sound clarity ones for $250 are they better than bose and I need really good bass headphones but still block some nose and other people can't hear them i love bass i listen to hip hop. BTW no dr dre studios

  • @AmazingTechReviews As far as my initial hour of listening has revealed, the Able Planet Lynx Audio system is just a gimmick that muddies the sound quality by creating "chords" of each note if you will. Honestly to my ears it makes it sound worse. And for the $300-ish price range I would go with the Bose or the Sennheiser Pxc-450. You'll have to see for yourself. But for the moment, my views on Able Planet's sound quality just aren't on par with their claims. More testing may change that view.

  • @AmazingTechReviews also the size of the earcups is rather small in that they do not encompass your entire ear, your earlobes are being push on by the cushions, and your ears don't really fit in the cushions well at all. This really hinders my initial impressions of the comfort of these headphones, but you'll have to stick around for my full review for the final verdict. Should be up in a few days.

  • @AmazingTechReviews Try the BOSE AE2 at your local Target or BestBuy. They provide really nice, quality bass, not headache inducing thumping base like the beats. I personally like them for their comfort, they are unmatched for any audio headphone in that area. They fit perfectly. Not noise cancelling but I've experienced I can block out normal tv level noise and people talking if I have music playing at around 50% volume on my iPod Touch. I would check those out. $150. No Noise leakage either!
