Gina Lollobrigida on Pat Boone Chevy Show

Gina Lollobrigida is guest on Pat Boone's Chevy Show on television about 1957. Pat introduces Gina and mentions her new movie, "Beautiful But Dangerous." He says a few things in Italian (maybe) which Gina responds, "what is it? Hungarian?" Pat says, "I'll never ask Perry Como to help me again!" Gina sings solo and then joined by Pat Boone to sing the classic Italian song "That's Amore."

Yes, this is Gina singing which before becoming an actress she sang at nightclubs to earn money for art classes. Gina wears a pretty Connie Francis style dress with short gloves and pearl necklace just like the famous singer from Little Italy New Jersey. It has been documented Gina is the most beautiful and sexiest actress ever, and Connie Francis has the same qualities as well.

I think this show was aired in 1957 or 1958 because Gina's hairstyle is like what she had when filming the movie "Fast and Sexy" (released in Europe 1958, later in USA 1960). "Beautiful But Dangerous" was released in 1956 but released in later years in USA, probably because at this time Gina was in breach of contract with Howard Hughes that forbid her from performing in American films during much of the 1950s. Years before she signed a movie contract with Howard Hughes (seemed like a good idea at the time) but realized it was not for her (and Gina refused to be one of Howard's mistresses).

1956 film "Beautiful But Dangerous" also released as "La Donna più Bella del Mondo" (the most beautiful woman in the world) is a fan favorite. This movie was never released on VHS or DVD, it has been shown on the Italian network RAI and some Canadian cable channels. Most unfortunate because Gina wears the most beautiful dresses. Like the other fan favorite "Fast and Sexy" don't expect the Big Four media companies to re-release it, you have to find the independents to do that. "Fast and Sexy" is available from Cinema Sirens (http://www.cinemasirens.com) though "Beautiful But Dangerous" occasionally shows up on ebay (someone recorded it while shown on cable tv).
