It is actually a song about domestic abuse. It is a very deep and powerful song when you analyse the lyrics. The genius of MJ is not just the songs but his artistry as a whole. The revolutionary music videos, the show stopping performances and his dexterity both as a vocalist and a dancer made MJ a genius.
