  • Will the feather stitching on the underside of the lapel and the undercollar be visible in the finished garment?

  • We never used edge tape to help with the structure of the lapel in class before. Thanks so much for this tutorial as I will be the first to try it.

  • You made this look pretty easy and perfect. I never wanted to do any hand sewing as a machine i9s so much faster but after spending hundreds of hours making my first quilt on a machine and doing a few hours of hand stitching I don't really think it makes much difference as long as you have a nice finished project. I think I may try to make a garment next. Not a jacket but a vest for starts.. Thank you so much for posting! I learned a lot.

  • can you sponsor me in 3 years time?

  • Very helpful. Thanks :D

  • wow waxing the thread! thats genious!

  • Waxing and blotting the thread makes a WORLD of difference when hand sewing. This vid basically summed up an entire semester of a Tailoring class for me. Only thing I would've done differently is pencil marks to be sure the feather pad stitching stays uniformed.

  • This is outstanding. Wish I had it before I started my jacket.

  • very straightforward and clear. thank you sooooooo much!!!
