Hamish - A Memorial to My Best Friend

My Cat Hamish was Diagnosed with CRF (Kidney Failure) and was sent to Rainbow Bridge on the 5th september 2007, I am Missing Him Terribly, This is a Tribute to his Life.. Till we meet again R.I.P. Hamish..

They say memories are golden, well maybe that is true.
I never, wanted memories, I only wanted you.
A million times I needed you, a million times I cried.
If love alone could have saved you, you never would have died.
In life I loved you dearly, in death I love you still.
In my heart you hold a place no one could ever fill.
If tears could build a stairway and heartache make a lane,
I'd walk the path to heaven and bring you back again.
Our hearts still ache in sadness and secret tears still flow
What it meant to lose you No one will ever know.
But now we know you want us To mourn for you no more
To remember all the happy times Life still has much in store.
Since you'll never be forgotten We pledge to you today
A cherished place within our heart Is where you'll always stay.
Our family chain is broken, and nothing seems the same.
But as we are called one by one, the chain will link again

when our pets die it hurts so bad when i lost my sweet ling ling cat i grieved over her the pain is still there but, she will live in my heart forever

Mind There' not a Day goes By that I don't Think of them... And yes, even after all this time, I still Miss them :(

So sorry you lost your Hamish. My heart aches for you & Misty. My boy Hamish ( a Yorkie) passed away Dec 2010 & the pain is unbearable. They stay with us in spirit it's just so hard not being able to touch them. Your boy was lucky to be loved & treated so well. He'll be waiting for you & in the meantime he'll be young & strong & painfree.

@bluebird3042 thank you bluebird, I am sorry to hear about your Hamish also :( Sadly Misty was sent to the bridge just under a year and a half after Hamish, they are now together again, but you are right, these furry babes that come into our lives are never forgotten and are with us always, Thank you again for a Lovely comment ( hugs)

Sorry about your kitty... My cat Carrie is only just 3 now, but my Cat Baylor died when he was just four. I can't even imagine her not being here, we've been through so much together already.

RIP Stachio... My friend's cat died yesterday, Stachio. He was my buddy, I haven't seen him much lately, I feel so bad about it now. I love you Stach, I'll always miss and remember you, until we meet again, bud. You were always one of my best friends.

The best thing you can do in his memory is to save a kitty from the pound and give Misty a new friend to.

Thank you so much for your kind Comment, it is starting to get easier now, but I still miss my Hamish quite a lot, at times I wish our little furry companions could live as long as us, but it's just not meant to be :(
