@akkappul i've been torn with that same question... if you get the upgraded air it's only a tad slower than the 13 inch pro. I already have a fast iMac so I'm going with the upgraded 11 inch air for an extra computer.
If it's going to be your main computer and you're going to be recording/editing on it or watching a lot of movies I'd say go with the 13 inch or 15 inch pro.

@BesnikDjek If you're on a really tight budget I can see how a 500 dollar laptop would be very VERY tempting. But the starting model for the macbook air is only around 1100 dollars or something. I say save up the extra dough.
I'm not a complete computer novice by any means, but having been away from PC's for the last 7 or 8 years I feel totally lost trying to navigate my mom's PC. I'm sure I'd get used to it if I messed with it for awhile, but I don't want to... not intuitive at all.

11" has an extra folder on the screen....desktop takes longer to load, thus causing the results to be skewed. :D

@Klicket01 I have a 13' Macbook Pro that handles 1080p/24p fine, just a bit laggy. However, the lack of graphics card makes renders slow.
