I've used a 3D connexion mouse for quite a while now (one of those ones where it has rotation in x,y and z and translation in x,y and z) for 3D modelling projects, but I accidently found the software development kit for it. It's in Visual Basic or C#. I decided visual basic sounded easier (I havn't got a clue how to use either of them)

3 hours later, here's what I managed to get it to do. Programming is actually quite simple if you ignore the bits which don't make sense!

You probably can't see this very well, but you twist the mouse to scroll with momentum and you push it to scroll normally. Pressing it down adds more friction to the momentum scroll.

Photos are a random selection of 15 photos I've taken since January.

I'll put the code somewhere if anyone want it.
