My wife and I went to Mountain Haven last year.We found it to be very far from the city and we heard from locals that there are still New People's Army communist rebels within the immediate vicinity.The facilities were not what we hoped for in a first class subdivision.No outlet of whatever kind to unwind or meet other people.It seemed we had to travel for at least an hour before we reached the Marco Polo Hotel and the road were not that good to begin with.We'll still retire in Davao but where?

That's beautiful. Davao is beautiful. With very nice subdivisions and sceneries. Best of all, it's typhoon-free!
