well considering it is Obama (or is it Soetoro; I'm still not clear on what his real name is) sole accomplishment and the source (from his books and speeches) of his qualifications for the Presidency I would think he should show us the ACTUAL DATA! Why is this such a weird idea. He claims he did great works "organizing". So, simply, show the RESULTS!
-
I think the only issue with "community organizing" (aside from the ridiculous definitions: isn't, by definition, a "community" already "organized") is that Obama/Soetoro, won't give any DATA for his RESULTS. Is the Southside of Chicago much better from his work. He goes to great pains to never show the STATS. Has drug abuse, poverty, income levels, employment, crimes, graduation rates, property values, economic output, etc "CHANGED" in a positive way? If so WHY DOESN'T OBAMA RELEASE THIS DATA?

Those people in the tree aren't community organizers. You're getting "community organizer" confused with "protester". You seem to have done some research, but you still have missed out on a lot of information.
-
I'm still waiting for the results of his work for the community he served.
Other than getting grants for the slumlord Rezco, eliminating his opponents in his senate race, stealing the election through the RBC committee on FL and MI.
He really talks alot of crap but has done nothing for anyone but himself.
Let's read his so call lessons on constitutional law, or his harvard law review excerpts.
He has no accomplishments other than a rogue campaign which punishes other democrats.

What the hell is a Demicrate? Second off Obama has worked with Republicans on several key pieces of legislation. Obama and Richard Lugar to secure nuclear weapons. Obama worked with Tom Coburn on the Federal Funding Accountability and Transparency Act.
You know why Lieberman isn't voting Democrat. Because when he lost the Democratic Primary in Connecticut he was angry with the Democratic leaders for supporting the winner and not backing him in his Independent candidacy.

thats one person, I live in that area he hasn't done much as a matter of FACT he has helped raise taxes in Illinois, signed one, just one, ethics bill but hey he has done a great job running for prez the past 18 mos and ALWAYS voting left and I can't name any republican he "croosed the ilse" and worked with. I am a demicrate I know McCain works with my party, just ask Joe Leiberman, he is voting McCain, or you can ask Jesie Jackson

Jango -- what your ilk lack in intellectual honesty you make up in helping to get McCain/Palin elected.
You may be juvenile or simply daft, but try to learn the meaning of spokesman before you post again...and why do you think you're significant enough to the Obama candidacy to be even included in "his minions"? You're sufferings delusions of grandeur.
Unfortunately, you and rainmaker do seem to mimic characteristics found in Pelosi and Reid, so you've apparently found your appropriate party.

Jesus was the Messiah. Is that the point you are trying to make about Obama?
I study the Bible and pray to Jesus. Jesus is my friend.
I know Jesus and Obama ain't no Jesus.

As a spokesman it's Burton's job to make the case for Obama using Burton's own views.
Also you said "Obama and his minions" what you should have said was "Obama's minions" thus exempting Obama himself.
By the way, why do Obama supporters (who make up about half the country, at least) get labeled as "minions" like it's some kind of cult.
-
Actually Bill Burton said that of his own accord. That was his opinion and within one news cycle Obama had already rejected that sentiment and even praised Sarah Palin, saying "She seems like a compelling person ... with a terrific personal story." and adding later, "[Palin] is one more indicator of this country moving forward ... one more hit against that glass ceiling. I congratulate her and look forward to a vigorous debate."
FYI - Seems many have jumped to conclusions. The point isn't to say community organizers aren't important, the point is to say that we need someone with more experience. Obama constantly said that was his experience, along with his JR Senator status. No harm intended towards community organizers as a whole. Now let's go knock some hippy community organizers out of those Berkeley trees. lol
