Limb-to-torso ratios prove that the figure in the Jacobs photographs is a primate rather than a bear.

  • Also, as is demonstrated on the BFRO site, the figure is estimated (thanks to daylight scale calculations) at roughtly three feet tall. When you say "It's not a baby or a kid," what are you basing that on?

  • Incorrect, Postofficejoe. Many encounter accounts report different sizes. Young BF are often smaller than adult human beings. Also, young BF have been seen moving about on all fours, not two legs.

  • But alas, "Proportionate Foot" doesn't have much of a ring to it...

  • The term "Bigfoot" is misleading. The feet are only big when the feet's owner is big. If an individual (like the Jacobs Creature) is small, then the feet will be small: they are proportionate to the body.

In terms of bending over, there is no reason to suppose that a juvenile Sasquatch will, in this posture, resemble a human being. They are likely much more flexible than we are.

  • That's because it's not a film but two still images captured by a trail camera.

  • As we've made clear many times before, these are the only images of the creature that the camera picked up. None is being withheld. The camera also shot images of bear cubs and a sow, as posted on the BFRO site.

  • Unfortunatly there is not enough data in many of these photos to make accurate limb ratio measurements. To make accurate measures of the limbs you need exact lengths of the long bones and where they attach. You cannot get that information from a photo. The Jacobs photo is very blurry and near impossible to tell where the shoulder begins. If you are off even a few inches from where the shoulder is it will throw the ratios off. I hope a body or better photos emerge to get good limb ratios

  • I feel this is something the Pennsylvania officials should have also done. Did they really want to find out what it was? They were more concerned with trying to silence the hysterical crowd that wanted answers so they produced a quick and easy cover-up.

  • Its not a baby or kid, maby the size of a teenager, you even say its limbs are bigger than a bear, So...it either walks or it does not, It is impossible for human type to get in this position, even at a young age...Try it. Its natural for animals that walk on 4 legs to get into this position...its Not natural for a 2 leg animal to force themselves into a hard position, Why.?

I do believe in BF, just don't think things add up here, you must have more than...Its young bigfoot...! Sorry...

  • No No, I was referring to Image 3, not Image 2, straight back legs with head on ground.

Everyone who says they incounter BF says there like human but taller with hair.

Are they all wrong...? The real "excuse" is a little Ape turning into a Human looking creature...Sorry I don't believe skeletons can change physique or anatomy like that. I don't believe a 4 legged animal can change there torso or lower limbs to walk upright on 2 legs later.

Evolution takes millions of years to evolve.

  • not a bear

  • The measurements were taken, the scenario was reproduced, it does'nt match a bears proportions.

The back was too short for the limb length compared to a bears.

    Almost identical to a chimp.

Some can't face reality when the unknown is staring at them.
