@WalkSeeknDestroySell Sawchuck and Dryden? I loved those two as goaltenders but you obviously don't know shit about goaltending. Roy wasn't "overrated", statistically he's the best goaltender of alltime.
4 cups, the only player to have won the Conn Smythe 3 times, a career 2.54 GAA, a career playoff 2.30 GAA, invented the modern butterfly, has the most combined wins (reg, playoffs), 3 Vezina's, 5 Jenning's, and was elected to the Hockey Hall of Fame in 2006, in his first year of eligibility.

@WalkSeeknDestroySell Roy has 4 stanley cups. how many did sawchuck have? Roy also made 63 saves in game 4 of the stanley cup finals in 96'. As well as winning the cup 10 years earlier...who was the last Rookie goaltender to win the cup? and at that he was also the youngest goalie to ever win it at 20 years old.
Sawchuck played 3 more seasons than did Roy...so i'd rule him out. Dryden might have a case though having only played 9 years in the NHL and going 258-57-74. also winning 6 cups.
