So, we live in Fort Dodge and decided to give youtube a glance of what it's like to live in one of the greatest things about fort dodge.

We do not claim to have any ownership of anything except our clothes. And everything we say is a joke not to be taken seriously...except about Tico.

  • kinda funny, but it's so obvious it'd guys making the video if they say cato is a fat people clothes

  • Does anybody know what Combs was? Just kind of interested. In a lot of ways, Ft. Dodge is a very interesting and historical town.

  • By the way, when I say Combs, I was referring to the "industrial?" facility that used to be near the Crossroads Mall when it was an open-air mall. I recall the sign because, as a little boy, when my folks would travel to "the city", I thought it looked like the Hollywood sign! We used to turn on the road in front of the mall off Highway 20 and it was right there. What an adventure for me! All the lights, traffic and shopping, plus the big bridge and Henry's Hamburgers! Great memories!

  • I had no idea so much of what I used to enjoy years ago was gone. The last time I visited the city, several years ago, I thought that the town had acutally cleaned up a bit and was a pretty nice place to visit.

Try visiting Mason City if you wish to see a city in decline. Overall, from what I saw, Ft. Dodge seems to be doing fairly well - although from a visitor's view that may not be true.

I still have fond memories of the city and its people. I guess everything changes, doesn't it?

  • @notredamehesamighty Combs.... GONE. Dam Bait Shop.....GONE. Brass Monkey.... Still there. Rock and Roll Reunion....GONE. Marvin's Garden..... Now Boston Centre. Wahkonsa Manor (The WACK) Still there for some damn reason. Hayloft.... Country Bar. Master Jacks.... GONE. Legends.... GONE. Beer Garden.... GONE. Laramar is still there but hardly used.

Fort Dodge has bit the big one.

  • i used to get in fights in the front parking lot.

  • The sound of the girls voice made me want to bang my head into a brick wall repeatedly. And "fat people clothes"? Grow up.

  • Having lived in Los Angeles for 19 years, I think I would welcome the tranquility of Fort Dodge, Iowa. If it weren't for the cold winters, Fort Dodge would be among the top candidates for a retirement location. You kids should enjoy the peace and tranquility--- and quit referring to Fort Dodge as a lame place. God bless small towns!!!!!

  • lol fort dodge is not a small town im sry but iv been there im from iowa its one of the top 10 largest towns in iowa im from a small town in iowa nashua pop of 700 fort dodge has 42k roughly last i knew
