Funny thing is...I remember my parents mentioning him as I was growing up, but was unable to appreciate his music until of late. He is a genius and well beyond his years. He played with a non-conforming style that suited him and not the masses. He carries his flamenco/bolero style throughout his career. Check out the video for "usted" or "nostros", or even "star spangled banner." No matter what, he never compromised his style.

You see, your usual armature and perhaps a professional can play the same piece but when a grandmaster rifts through the notes, it's just something else. Good grief, how did he do it so intricately?
