  • Wow I had no Idea these songs were on here. My great uncle is Kermit Richmond and I was just talking to him this past week about when him and my grandmother would sing and travel all over the mountains for concerts. Small world I guess.

  • we need to push King records to re-issue these recordings.

  • Thank you for this. I had that album about 25years ago, but no longer. I still sing bits of this song to myself every once in a while, and now it's on Youtube. Thank goodness for Youtube and people like you. I like the simplicity and nostalgia of your video.

  • Thank you. I have several videos like this posted plus more Kentucky Travelers.

  • Good for you, man, though I have no turntable. The tune "When You're Out of My Arms" on that disc is what got me. "Dreaming" was also on that compilation I copped -- solid tunes.

  • I posted some songs from the album. Take a look.

  • @jefferyb304 I AGREE WITH YOU 100%

  • Found a rare LP record by The Kentucky Travelers on eBay. I shelled out almost 30 bucks for it. Everytime I saw this one on eBay it sold for about that much. King records don't know what their missing out on! Paste the Item number: 280159883064 In the eBay search box and you can see what i'm talking about.

  • Great vox and playing. Connie & Joe were another group I've seen nothing from or about but who had a good groove on the one song I heard, anyway. What are some other neglected but kick butt bluegrass groups from the 50's and 60's?

  • I have a few compilation albums with the song Dreaming on it and another with like four of their songs. one of those 4 is the single I have as a video response to this video. They are the best on those albums.
