Awesome as usual. I have a few questions I have been wanting to ask on your forum, but I haven't had a return email on my registration. Is it still active?

Probably 6 lbs. Maybe 7 I don't know for sure. Lots of nice eggs in her though.

@steelheadstalkers Looks like a lot of fun, I got into steelhead fishing this year in Indiana. However, maybe its the angel of how this was shot, but the fish looks more like 4-5 lbs. I quickly learned this year that what I thought was 10+ lbs was more like 7, and what I figured was 7 was much lower sadly. Either way, thats part of it though =) Always nice to estimate a bit higher than what it maybe was, true fisherman there. Tight Lines my friend.

@Xrposiedon It was 27 inches long. A good rule of thumb is for every inch over 22 in you add a pound. A 24 inch steelhead would be around 4 lbs and go up from there. I under estimated by saying 6 lbs. You have to keep in mind you are fishing for great lakes steelhead. Ocean going steelhead are a whole different animal. Great Lakes steelhead cannot be compared to ocean going steelhead because they have different diets.
