@thegreenslime So NCSoft played the role of EA when they stabbed WestWood in the back and closed Earth and Beyond. I hope future independent game companies learn from these examples. Some profit should be enough, if a game is in the Black then leave well enough alone.

You do realize that it was NCSoft, not Garriott that shut this down. NCSoft pretty much stabbed Garriott in the back and fired him and then proceeded to shut down the game because they could use the resources else where for more profit. NCSoft are the "fucking retards"

Tabula Rasa closed as of February 28, 2009, with servers becoming free to play on January 10, 2009.[2] However, the developers decided to set the servers to free-play a month early, and as of December 23, free play had begun. As of this date, no Tabula Rasa servers are active, meaning that the game can no longer be played.[3]
