Remember The part of the game where you got the timeshifting powers?
well, SSAM said "Temporal origin drive damaged." That means that the suit (and as a result, SSAM, ) triggered the "auto return" because it thought you wern't in the correct time, even though you were.

It does make sense, theres no sequal intended. He stopped the bomb, wich made Krones alternate timeline not happen, but he erased himself because of it, since hes stuck in the alternate timeline wich he just destroyed.

@greblu2 Im pretty sure it all made sense, there were just so many different ideas on it that made sense. People should just keep away from anything the revolves around time.

This game, from what I can tell, had a lot of potential for a mindscrewy story.
Then some moron anons got their hands on some beta, the original developers went apeshit when they couldnt get it, and the new guys tried to turn it into a GoW clone.

this game takes place in 1939

I think he screwed things up because he went back to STOP THE BOMB which caused him to enter Kron's "alternate timeline" in the first place the way he did. If he had traveled normally, he might have survived, but the bomb caused him to go "some distance" when the travel occurred and was also the reason he did so in the first place. By disabling the bomb, there is a number of different outcomes that could occur without the Alpha Suit getting damaged, leading to the paradox the suit detected.
HE WAS SO CLOSE TO TAKE OFF HIS HELMET but he didnt

I think i see why everyone says the ending sucked, it doesn't make sense, if he kills Krone back in time 1960s or whatever decade it was the lab, bomb etc would'nt be there, and where the hell does he jump to afterwards?
