so is he in heaven or hell? I mean everyone says RIP. If he is in hell, there can be no rest or peace.. according to bible scriptures, Jesus said you must be born again to enter heaven....

I personally don't follow any religion and I think to divide the after-life as heaven and hell is an old-fashioned belief - we actually don't know if there is an after-life or not. But it's just my opinion - is it right or wrong, I don't know, it's just what I believe. And why we say RIP - I guess it doesn't matter where you are, what matters is that your soul finds peace in the after-life (be it in heaven, hell or some other place).

I understand that a person who does not believe in an after life particularly in a hell,a place of punishment would say something like RIP to anyone

But I believe there is a God a Heaven and Hell.. If there is a God then He must not like murder and rape and disease and war and there must be a reason we die... there must be a "better place" or else He would fix this place up..

That is good when you believe in God, Heaven and Hell. It is your right to do so and after-all we live in a pluralistic multicultural (and I'd even add multi-religious) world.

I on the other hand use my right not to believe and I also think we should leave this matter as it is because you are a believer and I am not and nothing is going to change the beliefs of either of us. So, I respect you for having faith and believing in God. Respect me also :)

@LittleSinners I absolutely respect you! It isnt easy to tell a person they are on their way to eternal damnation ya know. Most ppl just think its poppycock! Yes you have the right to believe what you want but, you know as well as I know that doesnt change truth. Well nice chatting with you..

Right! Born. You answered your own question. You must be alive. Hell. Is a city that was on earth, ( Heliopolis the city of the sun ) where Moses even hung out a few. and all the other cities, that were named as condemned or cursed per se' at the time those were written. Now go and have a good life. Heaven is a living decision. The scriptures talk more about what men think it was like. People resurrected never had no account. Otherwise they would have said.
