I just filmed this at a car show in - Lombard, IL - a suburb of Chicago, IL - 9:PM.. Looking West. (a cheaper Sony - mini-dv)

It seems that it is brighter and bigger - than when I filmed this same object - on 5-18-10.

Here is the one I filmed on 5-18-10 - (3 chip sony camera)

  • @melwell10 well if you say it's not moving then it must be VERY far away from us... which is not possible considering how bright it is... only objects which are not moving are distant galaxies, quasars and such OR satellites in static orbit which is 36.000 km above the Earth surface... so either way, what you're saying doesn't make any sense to say at least...

  • is more about a year i see that star even from italy even from romania!i hope to be Nibiru :D

  • That's Nemesis. Good job.

  • I have been watching that planet for 3 months now and hasn't moved from its orbit. My wife told me to look at 3 am its east side instead of west. I checked stellarium and venus is not there at that time. Can you explain that?

  • @shimeluchin

Yep, I was talking about those daily tasks ^^

I know about the collision, could happen if the trajectory was somehow altered (massive gravitationnal shift maybe) but I don't even think it's coming, at least not in 2012)

I think our problem will be closer to home before that anyway, Jupiter and Saturn are more interesting to me.

  • @Vx4xVenomous it can not collide with us, cuz planet cannot change its route, so if it hasnt hit us before in the past, it can not do that now, it will only cause a lot of disturbance and that is all, and if it is something going to hit us , i agree, there is no point of panic...would be nice to know, ofcourse, so i could stop doing pointless every day tasks

  • @shimeluchin

Indeed yes, you're right about that.

But regardless, in the end, what can really be done to avoid it's coming, if it is coming ?

Wait & see I guess, but then, what would be the point of all the panic around it ? If it's coming, then it's coming, end of story.

It would be nice to know, that's for sure, but it doesn't change any possible outcome.

    Peace =)

  • That's not Planet X.. That's Uranus. I can see it clearly.

  • 9.p.m. west sky. Venus. Try to visit nearest observatory and speak with astronomers. They all say the same. Venus.

  • @Vx4xVenomous yes but, if it is coming toward us, then the distance gets shorter, so when he comes near enough( maybe in our solar system) it only takes minutes or hours for his light to come here.... it could be very near, comparing how big it is now...
