For the first time in 21 years, the 1990 Whirlpool performs the Permanent Press cycle!

4:10 High Speed Agitation

8:10 Normal Speed Agitation

12:10 Low Speed Agitation

14:08 Neutral Partial Drain (Pauses here)

16:08 Cool-Down Refill

18:41 Normal Speed Agitation

20:38 Neutral Drain

22:38 Delicate Spin

24:40 Rinse Fill (I recommend skipping this)

29:45 High Speed Agitation

31:43 Neutral Drain

33:43 Delicate Rinse Spin

  • kermit!

  • @Sharkie626 you sound like Kermit the Frog :)

  • @PencilsAre4Paper haha, that's a new one, maybe lower pitched

  • @PencilsAre4Paper thats weird how this whirlpool washer is a three speed washer but does not offer a hand washables cycles sharkie could you please explain. also this washer is the best thing that ever happened to the laundry industry hope that it last you many more years to come. p.s. you will never find another like this they are very rare and did you buy this one brand new. also I dont understand why your dryer has no drum light inside it was extremley high end for its day.

  • @penhouse861 Well, this washer was probably manufactured in 1989, so certainly that many years ago the cycles had different names ;) Also The Handwashables cycles on newer direct drives consists of intermittent Normal Speed agitation, where as this washer does a continuous Low Speed agitation. I have a video of the delicate (Knits Gentle) cycle for this washer if you have not already seen it.

  • @penhouse861 (continued) as for the dryer light, i'm really not sure, but really the dryer doesn't need it, right across from the machines is the window, so we can easily see inside regardless ;)

  • @penhouse861 also sharkie the moisture sensing cycle is much better then timed dry just use normal dry for most regular loads and less dry for small or medium sized loades that are not that heavy. But never use the more dry setting it is very unnessessary and will ruin your clothes .

  • I found out why the washing machine water fill spout was loose, and it was that the spout came out of it's hulls, that holds the thing on!

  • @penhouse861 Penhouse, I appreciate these comments, but I ask you kindly to not post them in all caps, it is very unnecessary.
