Seamus was given a little freedom today after being pampered, primped, and preened over with a much needed bath! After a minor setback where his hooves didn't catch up on nutritional intake (leaving him with soft feet an one abcess, which we made him stall-bound for about 3 weeks) his feet are strong and he is fully sound once more! Time to test drive...
Seamus is an 8 year old rescue OTTB gelding offically named Green Boy. His person, Shannon, has been working hard to bring him back from the brink of neglect, he looked much worse than he does now, finally filling in with some fat and muscle. He is looking for a new home! As far as we can tell, sound as can be, and a quick learner, and pretty laid back for a horse who raced as long as he did.
Read about and keep up to date with Seamus here at his blog!

I stayed at the house near that feild, and I became great friends with that horse and his owners. I am now really good friends with the daughter, Sasha. My name is Ally, and I bet if you asked Sasha if she knew someone named Ally that she would say yes. We played with the three horses all day one day... But I had to return home to boring old Indiana. I actually just returned home today!!! What an awesome expierience that was to meet them. If you know Sasha, tell her that I said Hi!
