Maid Abuse in East Asia

Maid abuse has been occurring in countries in East Asia for many years and not much has really been done to alleviate this problem. We need to raise awareness for this problem so that more can be done to help these innocent people who are not able to speak out for themselves. There stories are like dirty little secrets, known by the few and kept secret from most. These are the stories of three maids from the Philippines who were beaten by there employers until they discovered the refuge of H.O.M.E. (Humanitarian Organization for Migration Economics).

seems like this issue has become pretty serious... we keep hearing about how developed singapore has become in the last 10 years... and they have not been able to control human rights violations. i feel that its possible that the elite / political families of singapore would have employed these poor migrant workers/maids... and they would not want these issues to be highlighted or controlled.

as a maid , cannot have boyfriend, cannot call to other man must work long hours, must do according to boss order, must see boss mood, time control by them, very stressful,wait up very early, clear those rubbist, salary less,as a maid her job is not very easy,waiting to be sent back anytime so please to the bosses please understand them..we are very lucky, just pretend we are them how??? think twice..just imagine...
