@jellofast I never did say that destruction is the same as pollution. But both are bad and will eventually make life on the planet impossible. Because when you keep destroying habitat and polluting the air/water/food what do you have left?

destruction =/= pollution
lie= global warm
truth = pollution exists in those eco friendly CFL bulbs

@sarcophyllus Cattle is an essential part of human nutrition, and the production of methane is not even that high. Regarding CO2, I must say that, while not only the earth has been through worse (The rise of surface during the dark ages and a couple of glacial periods), there is no way to stop the emission of CO2, for most of the percentage of carbon dioxide released into the atmosphere is not man made! And what are we supposed to do about methane? Kill all cows? Please!

There is a big difference between being considerate with your planet, being eco-friendly, and saving resources, and being a green fanatic whose goal is to take control of the economy in order to aim it towards an environmental policy that will supposedly make life better instead of things that really matter such as education, crime, and poverty. PS: The hockey stick graph and many other statistics have been debunked. I also noted they had the guts to use India as an example. Fucking Pricks.

I wish the USA will force people to ride bicycles.It helps the environment and reduces obesity. WE also need to stop buying stuff from china!!!.That is one reason we are in debt.The second is the unnecessary Iraq war.Third is BUSH'S Addiction to oil.While the US is trying to solve its debt bush is riding his horses and making money while most other people are losing.
Did anyone notice that before bush we ACTUALLY had money!!! It's BUSH's FAULT. He got us into this problem.He should be paying US!

why is the focus ALWAYS on citizens and polluting cars? the real source of the pollution problems are with international corporations that dump millions of tons of pollution into the atmosphere, land and water.
the other MAJOR polluter is the United States Military. it's funny the US Military & polluting corporations are (successfully) trying to convince everyone to step up, help out, and share the blame with them.
if those institutions stopped polluting, we wouldn't have a problem.

Smooth transitions, easy to understand and visually appealing. 5/5

I would love to see some research on that...could u post a link??

The majority talks about CO2, while methane hydrate will spiral global warming out of control.
Methane is 20 times more potent than carbon dioxide as a greenhouse gas
So you are saying that we should just continue the destruction of the planet? Pollution is a lie? Destruction of forests, the factories of oxygen we cold not survive without, is a lie? Pollution of air, water & food that are also essential in the survival of humankind is a lie?

i would advise everybody to read about peak oil and the energy restrictions we are likely to experience in the near future. Of course CO2 emissions are a serious problem that we must solve, but there are more immediate problems that have been killing millions for decades and very little has been done. The big powers are trying to make covert energy policy disguised as environmental policy, there's little genuine concern about the planet.
