Well, the whole point is to have multiple (at least two) NICs in different subnets for redundancy. So you need to have the initiator and the target on the same subnet.

may i know your host is it in the same subnet id as target?
if in different net id, how can a host in 192.168.3.X connect to lun target 192.168.5.50?
