No one can match their vocal skills. Absolutely no one. I love how Don's voice is not quite falsetto and not quite tenor. It's like a smooth in-between. In case no one knows, this is The Main Ingredient when they were called The Poets before recording with RCA. They went from The Poets, to The Insiders and finally The Main Ingredient. The Poets/Main Ingredient are Donald McPherson, Tony Silvester and Luther Simmons. Cuba Gooding Sr took over lead vocals after McPherson passed away in 1971.
