Yes, you can use your 15v 40A power supply for these purposes, should work fine. I did not refill the water once in the whole testing period (about a week) The water consumption is very small. In this video the electrolyzer is eating 20A at 30V, but that is only for tests. When I get a powerful 12V power supply, this baby will generate the same amount of gas using the same current at only 12v, because I wont use neutral plates anymore.
This is cool what is the solution for your cell?? Is it lye and distilled water? Or baking soda?
