Surah 1: Al-Fatihah (The Opening)

In the name of Allah, The Most Beneficent, The Most Merciful,
May the peace of Allah and His mercy and blessings be upon you.

This Surah was revealed in Makkah.

The reciter is Sheikh Ahmad Ibn Ali Al-Ajami.

Well, im not muslim, but my dad was. And im really interested about the Islam religion. My dad teaches me to read and speak Arabic, especially from the Quran, and i like it. Thank you for posting the Holy Qur'an with English subtitles.

I'm an auditory & visual learner. Would you kindly direct me to any videos either on youtube or on another website which has both the subtitles and the speaker reciting the Qur'an ONLY in English (without Arabic). I know that its not the actual Qur'an, but its distracting to hear it in Arabic. I want to do that first before I make the eventual transition to both languages & eventually just Arabic (which I do not know yet). Salaam.
